Management Keys

A 5225 is adapted all across the fall dormancy 3, 4 and 5 production zones. Fits the traditional 4 cut by mid-September harvest management, but will handle more aggressive cutting if the producer’s goal is yield and high forage quality.  Medium early maturity to one-tenth flower.  Fast recovery after harvest.  No known soil type or management limitations.
